Nicole Miller creates the ‘Angel’ dress to benefit Denise Rich’s G&P Foundation for Cancer Research

NEW YORK, NY, July 31, 2007 -- Celebrated runway designer Nicole Miller has partnered with the G&P Foundation for Cancer Research to custom design a special occasion dress that will be added to her ready-to-wear collection.

Denise Rich founded the G&P Foundation in 1996 in memory of her daughter Gabrielle Rich Aouad, who died at the age of 27 after a long struggle against Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML).

The ‘Angel’ dress is inspired by the Foundation’s colors of Lilac and raspberry. Its signature print and bell-sleeve detail looks great for daytime or a casual evening out.  The dress will be in stores in October, the same month as the foundation’s annual Angel Ball event held on October 29th at the New York Marriott Marquis.

The ‘Angel’ dress retails for $365 and will be available in 20 Nicole Miller free standing stores, fine specialty retailers, as well as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Nicole Miller will donate a portion of the proceeds from the dress to the G&P Foundation.

“I am thrilled to be partnering with Denise for such an important cause,” said Miller “encouraging the development of more effective therapies for patients with Leukemia, Lymphoma and related cancers will hopefully lead to the improvement in the treatment and care of those affected.”
